Aggressive D’Alembert Betting System
When you are researching roulette betting systems, you will find a lot of systems you come across are variations of a basic betting system. For example, you might find a negative progression system you like, then stumble upon the same system, but with a positive progression. Betting System A may have you doubling your bet every time you lose, and Betting System B has you doubling your bet every time you win. The truth is, there is a finite amount of roulette betting systems out there, and the ones you come across will either be variations or there will be variations of it out there. The D’Alembert betting system is one roulette betting system that has several variations, such as the Reverse D’Alembert and the Aggressive D’Alembert. The Reverse D’Alembert is simply a positive progression of the traditional D’Alembert betting system. However, the Aggressive D’Alembert betting system is the traditional D’Alembert betting system with a little tweak that can cause huge wins or huge loses – in essence, it is the D’Alembert betting system on steroids.
To understand the Aggressive D’Alembert betting system, you first have to understand the traditional D’Alembert betting system. The D’Alembert betting system is a negative progression betting system, so that means every time you have a losing bet, you move up the progression ladder, and in the case of the D’Alembert betting system, every time you make a winning bet you move down one progression. Each step of the progression is simple – add 1 unit or remove 1 unit depending on the outcome of your bet. So, if you start off with a 1 unit bet and that bet loses, you make a 2 unit bet, then a 3 unit bet and so on, if you continue losing. If you get to a 4 unit bet which wins, you then make a 3 unit bet, then a 2 unit bet, then a 1 unit bet, and if that 1 unit bet wins, you stop the progression and can start again if you want.
Now, as mentioned previously, the Aggressive D’Alembert is the traditional D’Alembert betting system, but on steroids. To achieve this, there is one slight tweak, and that is that every time you make a winning bet, you do not move down the progression, but instead you stay on the same bet level and stay there until you make a losing bet or you decide to call it a day on the roulette table. This is designed to maximise any winning streaks you go on while still giving you the opportunity to win your money back should you hit a losing patch.
So, in our previous example, if you made a few losing bets, going from a 1 unit bet to a 2 unit bet, then a 3 unit bet and finally a 4 unit bet which wins, instead of moving back down to a 3 unit bet, your next bet would be 4 unit bet again, and if it wins you stay on 4 until you lose, at which time you would move to a 5 unit bet.
To start with, you need to work out how much value a 1 unit bet has. It is a simple enough process, as all you have to do is divide the amount you have brought to the table by 100. This gives you a bankroll of 100 units with which to play with, which should be enough to cope with any crazy variance you might experience at the roulette table. Of course, using a souped-up system, you might want to give yourself a few more units to play with, so you could divide your bankroll by 200, 300 or more if you wanted to have more ammunition to bring to the table.
With that decided, all you need to do is put the Aggressive D’Alembert betting system into action. The system works best on even money bets on the roulette table, which is either red or black, or odd or even. These bets have the lowest house edge and therefore the least variance.
The Aggressive D’Alembert betting system is fine if you have deep pockets. It is not a betting system that would come highly recommended, but it is no worse than any other betting system you could use when playing roulette. In fact, if you happen to go on a winning run, you will make a healthy profit. However, if you go on a losing run, you should be prepared to lose a considerable amount if you don’t turn it round soon enough. There is no guarantee of success using the Aggressive D’Alembert betting system, as is the case with all roulette betting systems, so just use it to have a bit more fun at the roulette table.
The important thing to keep in mind is that you must stick to the rules of the Aggressive D’Alembert betting system, or else there is no point using it. You should also keep in mind a stopping point for both winning and losing. You need to know when to stop when you are winning, so you don’t lose everything back to the house – have a unit amount in mind and once you hit it, walk away to fight another day. Also keep to how much you are prepared to lose – do not chase your loses, just come back to the table another time. You should only bet with money you are prepared to lose.PlayRoulette.org » Strategy »
