Developed by 1X2 Gaming, Astro Roulette is an online casino game that was released in March 2016. It is a variant of the European roulette. Astro Roulette is an offshoot of Chinese Roulette (2016) from the same developer whose similar games include Roulette Diamond (2018) and European Roulette (2017).
Partly named after a prefix, “astro”, that means stars; Astro Roulette’s themes are celestial bodies, runes, classical elements, mindset, astrology, myth, horoscope, philosophy, zodiac signs, and meteorological seasons.
Astro Roulette Game Characteristics
1X2 Gaming has enhanced the player’s experience by substituting the usual roulette numbers with starry symbols. As such, Astro Roulette uses an unconventional roulette table and a modified roulette wheel. Players bet on the symbol where the ball will rest after spinning. Betting is all about dragging casino token to a desired position on the table.
Astro Roulette’s roulette table and wheel are fitted with these types of runic symbols—they correspond with those on the gray-framed roulette wheel whose interior has parchment yellow mapping. The four classical elements are: fire, earth, air, and water—these sapphire and dark blue symbols occupy the table’s bottom left and bottom right positions.
The philosophical purple infinity is on the pocket that is usually reserved for “0”. The four meteorological black-and-red symbols: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The two mindsets—positive and negative—are between the classical elements.
The zodiacal signs are: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces, Aquarius, Scorpio, Leo, Taurus, Capricorn, Libra, Cancer, and Aries. They are positioned on the table’s top three rows.
Astro Roulette has these casino tokens at center right or bottom center in some versions: $0.50, $1, $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, and $250. Astro Roulette has a $0.50 minimum bet and a $1000.00 maximum bet. The purple spin icon at the interface’s bottom left, below the “clear single bet” and “clear all bets”—some versions require players to single tap or double tap the “X” at bottom right to clear bets—or to the right of the tokens, depending with the versions.

Astro Roulette has a user-friendly and simple software. The five-game game history is displayed at top right. A bet history is also available in the “history” icon within the hamburger menu—at top right or bottom right depending with the game version—whose other icons include help and on/off sound.
Some versions may displace odds atop the tokens. A female prompter mentions the winning zodiac whose symbols are then showed in a descending order to the right of the roulette wheel, or at top right. The sounds include commentary and white noise, depicting the space sound. Sound effects: rattling and jingling.
