Five Quad Strategy

Frequent casino goers are likely to have visited the roulette table at least once during their lots of visits. This betting game, which involves the players to bet on a single number or even a range of numbers, took its modern form in the 18th century in France and has enjoyed its growing popularity all over the world.

Over the course of roulette’s rise as a casino game, a lot of strategies have been made in an attempt to use the game’s constraints against it, meaning a win. While a lot of traditionalists would suggest that the best betting systems to follow are still the classic ones such as the Martingale, the Fibonacci, the Labouchere as well as D’Alembert, more recent roulette strategies, however, are now increasingly being used by a lot of players. One of these modern strategies is the Five Quad system.

What Is The Five Quad Strategy?

The Five Quad Strategy is one of the most popular tactics that many roulette players follow in order to make their path to a roulette victory easier to achieve. While there are many other roulette quad strategies out there, the Five Squad is one of two that are most used by many players.

This strategy bears a close resemblance to the Double Street Quad system, but it differs in that the Five Quad strategy requires players to pick five quads instead of the two streets in Double Street.

Why Do Lots of Roulette Players Use this Strategy?

The Five Quad is one of the strategies that are easiest to understand so most beginners use them at first. It is also relatively low risk when compared to other betting systems, that is why players are more likely to use them in order to avoid losing big amounts of money.

How Does the Strategy Work?

The objective of the Five Quad strategy is to bet six numbers on strategic locations on the betting grid. As you may already know about roulette, there are corner bets and straight-up bets. Corner bets cover four numbers (the four numbers of which it is an intersection) while the straight up bet covers only one.

Among these six, five of these are placed on corners in order to fill out quads (a total of 20 numbers). The remaining bet is used to fill out one more number. Most players would suggest that the straight-up bet should not be a part of the quad bet numbers, but that is not really a requirement. Choosing a different number does raise your chances of winning though.

As an example:

First Quad Bet: 1, 2, 4, 5

Second Quad Bet: 8, 9, 11, 12

Third Quad Bet: 16, 17, 19, 20

Fourth Quad Bet: 25, 26, 28, 29

Fifth Quad Bet: 32, 33, 35, 36

Single number (straight-up bet): 3

As far as betting systems go, the fact that you already have 6 bets on 21 numbers in the game already means that the odds are in your favor, though you are more likely to win on the quad bets.

How Much May You Win

The quad bet pays out eight chips to one so if a ball lands on one of the numbers that are covered by them, you will gain three more chips. If the ball lands on your straight-bet, on the other hand, you will be gaining 30 more. Not bad for a strategy that only requires six chips per round, right?

Upsides and Downsides

As already been said above, the Five Quad is low risk when compared to other strategies. You are never really in a risk of players who are losing big money. Plus, it is a good step in the right direction for low risk players who were doing mostly outside bets before.

However, if you are already an experienced player who is determined to win big money with little moves and can take a huge risk, then this strategy is not for you.

The Five Quad strategy may not be a perfect betting system to follow, but it does present a decent chance to win due to the almost scientific approach it has to playing roulette. Try the Five Quad strategy on your next chance to play on the roulette table for a bigger opening for a win. Ultimately, though, whether you win in roulette will not just boil down to what strategy you will use. It really depends on you as it is a game that is very reliant on luck.
