Roulette in South Dakota

South Dakota, at best, is one of the few states that can be rightly labelled as a “gambler’s haven”. As of this writing, the state has over 43 casinos, so it’s no wonder that casino gambling is very much legal in it. It’s for this reason that a lot of people from nearby states, where there are stricter gambling laws, flock to its casinos instead.

Notably, much of South Dakota casinos are concentrated in the Deadwood area. With such a multitude of gambling establishments, though, you can never really run out of options to choose from. Be that as it may, keep in mind that the state has only recently approved the inclusion of new table games like roulette in most of its casinos. It is also because of this reason that you won’t find a lot of casinos in South Dakota that offer it yet.

Roulette in South Dakota: Royal River Casino Bingo & Hotel

Often hailed as the largest casino in the state, the Royal River Casino Bingo & Hotel boasts of having over 350 slots (albeit small compared to other large casinos in the country) with over a dozen table games, including blackjack, poker and roulette. Interestingly and quite ironically, it’s not located in Deadwood but in Flandreau; it’s also one of the few casinos in the state that have started offering roulette. This casino is also well-known for its restaurants and non-stop live entertainment, making it, indeed, a place where everybody can be winners.

Roulette in South Dakota: Cadillac Jack’s Gaming Resort

Cadillac Jack’s Gaming Resort is one of the few Deadwood casinos that immediately jumped on the opportunity to offer new table games like roulette, craps, and keno in the said historic city. Deadwood’s idyllic and beautiful surroundings make it a wonderful place to visit for just about any vacationer and gambler. It offers 17 table games and over 200 slot games. The tables are noticeably of new design (they are one of the first in the entire country to use the redesigned roulette table, in fact), because of its responsive features when it comes to letting the players whether he’s won already or not, what has won, as well as in actively telling him when it is not possible to bet any further. Besides the roulette tables, you can also try out craps and keno. It’s a casino where fun and excitement can be expected 24 hours a day.

Roulette in South Dakota: Tin Lizzie

Introducing itself as the state’s “friendliest casino”, Tin Lizzie is a veritable gambler’s paradise. It has undergone a major reboot when it started updating the features of most of its slot machines, which now number to about 280. Like Cadillac Jack’s Gaming Resort’s, it’s also one of the first casinos in Deadwood to offer the new table games. You may find that the sole roulette table that the casino has would always be occupied, though, so you may have to exercise a bit of patience when waiting for your turn to play. You can try out the other games offered by the casino while doing so. Tin Lizzie also wants to highlight its new Beverage Ordering Service System (BOSS) that basically allows you to order drinks wherever you are in the casino, and your order would promptly be taken to you as well. This is certainly a new experience that every player should not miss out on.

Roulette in South Dakota: Gold Dust Casino & Hotel

After transferring to a new ownership and management, Gold Dust Casino & Hotel saw a reinvigorated change and improvement not only in the luxurious amenities that it offers, but also in most of the aspects of its casino. For one, it’s now offering the latest slot machine models, along with the classic, old-time favorites. However, what would definitely grab anyone’s attention is its bustling pit area, for it is there where many of the casino’s table games are being offered. Ranging from Black Jack and Three Card Poker to Ultimate Texas Hold’em and Roulette, you can expect to get nothing less than the Vegas-style casino experience in Gold Dust, but, of course, not without unique Deadwood touch. Take note, though, that the table games are only available for 24/7 specifically on weekends only. Its excellent hotel is one of the best in the city as well, so if you’re vacationer/gambler, then this is the place to stay to ensure perfect bliss.
